The Emerald is also a stone’s throw from Poretto Beach. Poretto Beach offers concessions, restrooms, beach chairs, umbrellas, floats and jet ski rentals.

Galveston’s historic downtown Strand District is just a short drive with shops, restaurants, attractions and nightlife. Also, nearby, are historic homes tours, The Bryan Museum, The Grand 1894 Opera House, Bishop’s Palace, Moody Mansion, 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA at the Texas Seaport Museum, Galveston Railroad Museum, Pier 21 Theater, Murdoch’s Gift Shop. You're also just minutes away from UTMB.
